Graphic Designer (Entry Level) - 6 month contract

We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our team in our Kuala Lumpur office for 6 months. The successful candidate will provide support to our design team and will be responsible for the production of branded corporate materials.

This is an in-person role based in our Kuala Lumpur office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create aesthetically appealing and effective corporate graphics in line with the company’s branding guidelines.
  • Create artwork for multiple events based on templates.
  • Develop concepts and layouts for printed materials, signage, brochures, reports, websites, web banners, social media posts, digital displays, LED screens and other assets.
  • Create and edit icons, logos, graphics, images and infographics.
  • Produce templates and create artwork using Adobe design software, and also using Microsoft programmes.
  • Review and proof final designs before distribution.
  • Follow procedures on communication, delivery and distribution of assets.
  • Report, communicate, assist and collaborate effectively with other members of the creative team and management.
  • Liaise with other teams internally.
  • Liaise with external printers to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed or presented to the highest quality.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years' work experience. This is an entry-level position.
  • Professional level of the English language - both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Apps.
  • Experience in digital media, social media, web design, and UX/UI design is a bonus.
  • Able to provide support to colleagues and team members.
  • A self-motivated and energetic person with excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organised and able to execute administrative tasks and communicate with suppliers.
  • An eye for detail and aesthetics.
