Job summary

YF PACKAGING SDN. BHD in Merlimau, Malaysia, invites fresh graduates to join as a packaging graphic designer.

You will develop layouts and packaging concepts, prepare rough drafts, and present ideas to ensure brand alignment, while collaborating with sales, designers and executives.

The role requires diploma or degree in graphic/multimedia design and willingness to learn CMYK knowledge and various design software.

Job description

Responsible to create and develop the overall layout and production design for packaging and product.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide output either regarding layout and designing (E-commerce order) on time.

Provide sample printing to customers on time.

Analyzing market trends, customer needs and product details to conceptualize effective package designs.

Schedule project implementation and define budget constraint.

Contribute ideas to video creation and participate in video shooting sessions.

Work with a wide range of media and using software and design programs to bring packaging concepts to life.

Think creatively and develop new design concept, graphic concept, graphic and layout.

Prepare rough draft and present your idea.

To ensure packaging designs accurately represent the company’s brand and ethos.

Project tracking on ongoing basis to ensure compliance to defined project timelines such as stability, manufacturing and commercialization.

Work as part of a team with sales coordinator, designer and executive.

Quantity and quality artwork to aim.

Responsible to meet the KPI’s set by organization on superior.

To learn CMYK knowledge.

Any ad hoc task as assigned by superior.
