Graphic Designer

You’ll be free to design pretty pictures in the form of logos, social media content or art for an event & advertising campaigns both digital and outdoor platforms.

You’ll be working closely with a strategic planner and art director, finishing each other’s sentences. Together, you’ll strategically discuss what works and what doesn’t in terms of design, while always having an eye on what’s new and exciting in the market. Yes, that means you get to Facebook and YouTube more than your ex-boss will be comfortable with.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS: -

• Able to conceptualise and obtain input to execute brand campaigns that effectively communicate the story.
• Keep up with the latest design trends & techniques.
• Develop marketing materials in the form of digital posters, brochures, promo videos, production overlays, event happenings and results, infographics and outdoor event materials.
• Create designs in a detail-oriented manner, ensuring quality and accuracy of all design-related material whilst meeting tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members in problem-solving, decision-making and organisation for campaigns.

• Artistic Abilities: You will need to make designs that are loved not only by clients but also by your peers. Expect to make revisions based on feedback from clients and management.
• Communication Skills: Listen to the client's needs to thoroughly understand the market they’re trying to reach. Strong communication will help you defend your work and promote your ideas.
• Creativity: You must always be thinking of new ideas or new twists on old concepts and be able to translate that into new design.
• Teamwork & Time Management: Manage your own time wisely to ensure efficiency in your work.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Working Hours: 1:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Break Hours: 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Working Days (No WFH): Monday to Friday (5 Days)
• Minimum SPM/O-Levels. Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Graphic Design or closely related field would be a plus.
• A professional portfolio that demonstrates the scope of your talent and the depth and breadth of your work.
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). After Effects, motion graphics or video editing skills are a major advantage.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Chinese language will be an added advantage).
• Not camera-shy and interactive characters.
• Willing to work on Sundays & Public Holidays during campaigns & events.
• Flexible for shifting schedules and changes.
• In-depth knowledge of social media digital platforms and their user preferences.
• Proficiency in photo/video shooting and editing using professional-grade equipment and software.
• Strong storytelling and creative thinking skills to develop engaging campaigns.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Organised and structured for project planning and execution.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current trends, challenges, and popular culture.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools to track and analyze performance.
• Passion for social media, digital marketing, and content creation.
• Pleasant attitude; cheerful and focused on details, well organized.
• Excellent time management skills and willingness to work long hours if needed.
