Job summary

The successful candidate will be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, manage multiple projects to deadlines, and collaborate with marketing and content teams to deliver impactful designs for campaigns, events, and online content.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or related field.
• Portfolio showcasing relevant design work.
• Proficiency in typography, colour theory, composition, layout, visual hierarchy, and branding.
• Experience with digital content creation is an advantage.

Job description

The Graphic Designer is responsible for developing creative, engaging, and professional visual content to support LCAP's branding, marketing, communication, and business objectives. The role involves creating digital and print materials while ensuring consistency with the organisation's visual identity and communication standards.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and visual designs based on briefs and business requirements.
• Design marketing and communication materials for digital and print platforms.
• Create social media graphics, banners, posters, brochures, presentations, infographics, advertisements, and other promotional materials.
• Support the development of visual content for campaigns, events, announcements, and corporate communications.
• Adapt and resize artwork for different platforms and formats while maintaining visual consistency.
• Ensure all designs follow established brand guidelines, including colours, typography, layouts, imagery, and overall visual identity.
• Edit and retouch photographs, images, illustrations, and other visual assets where required.
• Prepare high-quality and production-ready artwork for digital publication and printing.
• Collaborate with marketing, content, business, and other internal teams to understand design requirements and deliver suitable creative solutions.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting agreed deadlines and priorities.
• Maintain and organise design files, templates, brand assets, and other creative resources.
• Review artwork carefully to ensure accuracy, consistency, quality, and alignment with the approved brief before publication or production.
• Assist with creative direction and provide design recommendations where appropriate.
• Keep up to date with current design trends, digital content formats, creative tools, and industry best practices.
• Perform other design-related duties and creative tasks assigned by the management.

4. Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in graphic design, digital content creation, or a similar creative role is an advantage.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Canva, or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of typography, colour theory, composition, layout, visual hierarchy, and branding principles.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics, video editing, or animation would be an added advantage.
• Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills.
• Good attention to detail and visual accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work within deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• A portfolio demonstrating relevant design work is preferred.
