Job summary

TRACE TAG MARKETING SDN. BHD. is seeking a creative Graphic Design Intern in Malaysia to support artwork creation for printing, social content, and brand materials. You’ll gain hands-on experience in printing production and live customer projects.

The internship is designed for students pursuing a Diploma/Certificate/Degree in graphic design, with opportunities to learn Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Canva in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing certificate/diploma/degree in graphic design or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop; Canva is a plus.
• Creative and eager to learn new design and printing techniques.
• Strong sense of layout, typography, color, and visual presentation.
• Able to communicate and work well with team members.
• Own transport preferred.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, editing and preparing artwork for commercial printing and production.
• Design materials such as banners, buntings, posters, stickers, signage, flyers and other printed materials.
• Create visual content for social media, digital marketing, promotions and company branding.
• Prepare print-ready artwork meeting required size, resolution, colour mode, bleed and other specs.
• Develop fresh design ideas according to customer requirements and brand identity.
• Work with design, marketing and production teams on ongoing projects.
• Gain exposure to printing materials, production processes and finishing methods.
• Perform other design-related tasks as assigned by supervisor.

We are looking for a creative and motivated Graphic Design Intern to join our team. This internship is suitable for students who are looking to gain hands-on experience in the printing, advertising and creative design industry.

You will have the opportunity to work on actual customer projects and gain practical exposure to both graphic design and printing production.

Job Description

• Assist in creating, editing and preparing artwork for commercial printing and production.
• Design creative materials such as banners, buntings, posters, stickers, signage, flyers and other printed materials.
• Create visual content for social media, digital marketing, promotions and company branding.
• Assist in preparing print-ready artwork and ensure designs meet the required size, resolution, colour mode, bleed and other printing specifications.
• Develop fresh and creative design ideas according to customer requirements and brand identity.
• Work closely with the design, marketing and production teams on ongoing projects.
• Gain practical exposure to printing materials, production processes and finishing methods.
• Perform other design-related tasks assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Creative Multimedia, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Art & Design, Advertising Design or other related creative fields.
• Basic knowledge or proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop is preferred. Knowledge of Canva or other design software is an added advantage.
• Creative and willing to learn new design and printing techniques.
• Have a good sense of layout, typography, colour and visual presentation.
• Able to communicate and work well with team members.
• Responsible, positive and able to complete assigned tasks within the given timeline.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Candidates with their own transport are preferred.

Internship Intake: September & October 2026
Internship Allowance: Minimum RM600.00 per month
