Job summary

AMD in Penang, Malaysia seeks a Product Development engineer to collaborate with product development groups to bring-up and ramp new products, plan and debug manufacturing and characterization tests for next-generation AMD microprocessors.

The successful candidate will ensure accuracy, reliability, and completeness of assignments critical to project success, with responsibilities spanning test pattern development, bring-up, and improvements to enable mass production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or comparable disciplines.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Ruby, shell script.
• Good understanding of Linux, Unix or Windows OS.
• ATE test experience.

Responsibilities

• Validate new product features, test conditions, test methodologies, and test contents during first silicon bring-up.
• Post silicon bring up of test patterns leading to optimization for mass production enablement.
• Analysis of part failures leading to test improvement.
• Test pattern & test flow development, debug, test and characterization.

THE ROLE:

As a Product Development engineer, you will collaborate with various Product Development Groups to bring-up and ramp new products which include Plan, debug and handling manufacturing and characterization test programs for next-generation AMD microprocessors.
