Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or related field and/or a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA/ICAEW/MICPA-CAANZ/CPA Australia
• Good interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills
• Open to support business development efforts
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (verbal and written)

Responsibilities

• Make technical contribution to tax engagements as well as assist in preparing reports that will be delivered to clients and other parties
• Help clients manage their tax risk and comply with complex legislation
• Prepare tax computations and tax returns in accordance with the Income Tax Act 1967 for timely submission to the tax authorities
• Provide tailored tax advice to clients
• Liaise directly with the authorities on tax matters
• Liaise directly with clients & maintain good relationships
• Work together with teams
