Position Overview:

The Graduate HSE Analyst is responsible for supporting the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities across PETROS. This includes assisting with HSE onboarding and awareness programmes, helping to ensure compliance, and supporting day-to-day HSE efforts at the frontline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support HSE training and awareness programs (i.e. HSE Onboarding training).
  • Assist in coordinating measures and initiatives to mitigate business and operational impact to asset and people and ensuring compliance to local regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of HSE documentation (e.g., safety manuals, procedures, checklists).
  • Participate and assist on stakeholder engagement, including management, employees, contractors, communities and regulatory agencies (such as DOSH, DOE, NREB, APMM, RO, etc).
  • Participate in safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations as well as to assist in preparing reports and tracking corrective actions.
  • Participate in on-the-job training while gaining hands-on experience in HSE management as organised by the assigned supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Science, or Engineering or a similar discipline.
  • Fresh OSH graduates or technical disciplines with up to 3 years relevant working experience in the industry.
  • Graduates with final CGPA 3.00 and above.
  • Strong passion and curiosity for the industry and desire to learn and grow.
  • Superior written and vocal communication abilities.
  • The ability to operate both alone and collaboratively.
  • Adaptable and with a proactive mindset to take on new challenges.
  • Solution-focused and active team player.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HSE data platforms is a plus.
