Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices Global Services (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Penang, Malaysia, seeks an firmware engineer to develop UMC firmware as part of the IP design flow. You will collaborate with RTL, DV, emulation, platform, and software teams to enable IP features in both simulation and silicon.

The role requires Verilog knowledge and software programming skills, with internship experience in semiconductor or computing. A fundamental understanding of x86/ARM/MIPS architectures is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop UMC firmware as part of IP design and IP development flow, including IP simulation and emulation environment.

• Debug UMC IP issues found in simulation/emulation/silicon and drive them to closure
