Job summary

The Financial Risk Group (FRG) Kuala Lumpur APAC office is hiring for a Graduate Training Program as a Financial Risk Consultant. The NEET program provides paid training, SAS and FRR certifications, Linux and version control skills, and a first live project assignment in a regional setting.

As a NEET Trainee you will join a structured 13‑week program, then move into a client project team. The role offers a clear path to becoming a consulting professional in financial risk and technology.

Qualifications

• Recent graduates or early‑career professionals with strong academic results.
• 0–2 years of work experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Some programming exposure in any language is acceptable.
• Malaysian citizen or permanent resident, or eligible to work in Malaysia.
• Excellent verbal and written English; strong organization and study skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop proficiency in SAS, SQL, Python, and related tools.
• Obtain professional certifications in technology and risk management, paid for by FRG.
• Learn core financial risk concepts and regulatory frameworks (IFRS 9, Basel III, stress testing).
• Understand risk platform architecture and optimize analytic processes.
• Apply coding standards, unit testing, debugging, and QA practices.
• Gain exposure to SDLC and project management methodologies.
• Collaborate with senior consultants on client projects across Malaysia and the region.
