Intel Corporation in Malaysia (Penang) invites fresh graduates and early-career professionals to join a Graduate Talent Program in software development and data engineering. You will work with cross-functional Agile teams to design, develop, test, and enhance enterprise applications and data-driven solutions, applying AI and vector database technologies at scale.

Role focuses on building data pipelines, data warehouses, and AI-enabled capabilities, with exposure to MCP, LLMs, and Agentic AI

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related STEM discipline.
• Strong foundation in software engineering and application development.
• Knowledge of Data Engineering, including data ingestion, transformation, data pipelines, and ETL/ELT concepts.
• Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, data modeling, and analytical data structures.
• Familiarity with AI/Generative AI concepts and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Understanding of Vector Databases and vector-based information retrieval.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and its use in AI-enabled applications.
• Understanding of Agentic AI workflows, including the use of AI agents, tools, and multi-step workflows.
• Experience or knowledge of MEAN stack or similar modern web application development technologies.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse, global teams.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, and support enterprise applications, data solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and data engineering workflows to enable analytics and AI use cases.
• Work with data warehouses and modern data platforms to organize, transform, and make data accessible for downstream applications.
• Explore and implement solutions using Vector Databases, MCP, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Agentic AI workflows.
• Develop automation and improve the reliability, scalability, and maintainability of applications and data solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges and improve business and engineering processes.
• Participate in Agile development practices, including design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support.
• Document architectures, processes, tools, and solutions to promote effective knowledge sharing.
• Continuously learn and experiment with emerging technologies in software engineering, data engineering, and AI.
