Job description
Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end process of obtaining and renewing all required licenses and regulatory approvals for the company, including the direct selling license and product certifications.
  • Build and manage relationships with key government agencies such as KPDN, PDP, SIRIM, and local authorities.
  • Oversee halal certification efforts, coordinating directly with JAKIM and certification bodies to ensure that documentation, product updates, and audits are handled smoothly and in accordance with national requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate regulatory readiness into business planning and ensure all product compliance requirements are met before market launch.
  • Monitor regulatory and policy developments, and advise leadership early to prepare the business for their impact.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Regulatory Affairs, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • At least 7 years of experience in regulatory affairs or government relations
  • Experience working directly with Malaysian government agencies such as KPDN, PDP, Customs, SIRIM, and JAKIM
