Responsibilities:
- Lead Nationwide Operations: Take charge of our dealership branches across Malaysia, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while focusing on the sales and service of forklifts.
- Client Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong relationships with key clients in the industrial and logistics sectors, ensuring we meet their evolving needs and deliver exceptional value.
- Drive Sales Growth: Lead the sales strategy, identify opportunities, and empower your team to achieve sales targets while providing expert guidance to customers in selecting the right forklifts for their business.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in forklift technology and equipment. Continuously enhance your technical knowledge to provide cutting-edge solutions to our customers.
- Oversee Service & Maintenance: Manage the servicing and maintenance of forklifts, ensuring top-notch performance and offering technical support when needed to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Lead & Inspire: Manage and motivate people and team, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence. Mentor staff, encourage professional development, and create an environment of continuous improvement.
- Spot Market Opportunities: Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity in the forklift and industrial equipment space. Leverage insights to find new business opportunities, grow our customer base, and enhance profitability.
- Provide Outstanding Customer Service: Be a trusted advisor to our clients, offering exceptional service and solutions to meet their specific forklift needs. Address inquiries and issues promptly, ensuring a positive and lasting customer experience.
- Ensure Compliance & Safety: Maintain high standards of safety and compliance across all branches and service operations, ensuring we meet regulatory and operational requirements at all times.
- Drive Strategic Initiatives: Lead the development and execution of strategies that align with company goals to achieve growth targets, enhance customer satisfaction, and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 10-15 years of experience in the industrial equipment or machinery industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Leadership Excellence: Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive performance in a fast-paced environment.
- Sales-Driven: A track record of success in forklift sales or industrial equipment, with the ability to lead a team towards achieving ambitious targets.
- Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of forklifts and related equipment, with the ability to offer practical solutions to both customers and your team.
- Strong Communication: Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly and confidently.
- Problem-Solver: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and finding creative solutions.
