• Bachelor’s degree in international trade, business, supply chain, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in customs compliance, KYC/due diligence, logistics, or trade operations.
• Strong written English with the ability to produce audit-ready documentation.
• Analytical skills with attention to detail in verifying ownership structures.
• Ability to work independently with a U.S.-based manager.
• Familiarity with SAP/GTS or similar screening platforms.
• Exposure to EAR, OFAC, or Malaysia’s Strategic Trade Act.
• Experience with HTS or ECCN concepts.

Responsibilities

• Vet potential customers and transactions via KYC and due diligence to assess engagement viability.
• Review, release, document, or escalate compliance holds in SAP/GTS to keep transactions compliant.
• Review End-Use Statements for red flags and diversion risk.
• Trace ownership structures to ultimate parent and identify country-of-concern control.
• Capture data to assign HTS codes for new products.
• Prepare ECCN packages for review by U.S. Corporate Trade Compliance Team.
• Maintain audit-ready records of screening decisions and findings.
