Job summary

EY Malaysia is seeking an experienced Global Compliance and Reporting professional to help clients meet the increasing and ever more complex demands for tax compliance, reporting and advisory services within organizations.

In this role you will blend our standard global compliance processes with local experience, ensure high-quality work, mentor junior team members, participate in engagements and support business development within the tax compliance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of work experience in tax compliance or related field.
• Professional qualification in Tax (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Combine global compliance processes with local experience to manage client tax obligations.
• Ensure client work is delivered to a high quality standard.
• Identify risks and elevate issues as appropriate.
• Coach and develop junior team members to grow professionally.
• Participate in engagements and manage engagement economics with staffing and fees.
• Engage in business development and build relationships within the tax compliance team.
