Job summary

Nokia, a global leader in connectivity, seeks an experienced supply chain professional in Penang, Malaysia. You will drive strategic analyses, manage shortages, and optimize global allocation using Nokia analytical tools, while coordinating with EMS/ODM/JDM partners and cross-functional teams across geographies.

This role emphasizes process improvement, policy integration, and delivering on-time delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction metrics. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5-7 years of professional work experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge (6+ years) of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management or Distribution environment.
• Experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma, FMEA).
• Certified purple badge required and green or black belt preferred.
• Project management experience.
• Ability to achieve results through others by influencing and monitoring processes.
• Experience with virtual teams and collaboration across geographies.
• Proficiency in Office tools, especially Excel, and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive scenario planning to support strategic decisions on inventory allocation.
• Resolve material issues including re-allocation and shortages; propose strategic solutions.
• Manage and expedite critical shortages within the global supply chain.
• Collaborate with worldwide teams and multiple manufacturing partners.
• Review and resolve shortages with internal and external partners weekly.
• Develop and utilize Nokia’s analytical tools for global allocation and constraints.
• Lead global supply chain initiatives across business units.
• Identify opportunities to reduce excess costs (freight, PPV, NCNR).
• Share knowledge on processes, metrics, reporting and tools.
• Align strategies with other business groups and coordinate services and programs.
