Job summary

This full-time, on-site role partners with engineering to assess supplier capabilities for current and future roadmaps. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in global strategic sourcing, excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills, and experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Dynamics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Engineering, Business, or related field with focus on global strategic sourcing management
• 10+ years of global strategic sourcing management experience across supplier selection, risk/compliance, negotiation, roadmap alignment, and financial analysis
• Strong negotiation skills, excellent relationship management and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders, critical thinking, problem-solving, and strong communication skills
• Proficiency with ERP systems, MS Office, Advanced Excel, and MS Project
• Preferred certifications include ISM C.P.M., CPSM, APICS CSCP/CPIM, or equivalent, and experience with Microsoft Dynamics

Responsibilities

• Strategy Development: Develop and execute global sourcing strategies, including supplier selection, qualification, rationalization, benchmarking, TCO, and risk mitigation
• Supplier Management: Lead supplier relationships, manage contracts, pricing agreements, and conduct performance assessments for assigned category management activities
• Cost Optimization: Deliver cost reductions through market analysis, cost modeling, competitive sourcing, make-versus-buy analysis, and global spend leverage
• Intelligence & Improvement: Build supplier and market intelligence to support sourcing strategy and capability assessment, while driving lean transformation and continuous improvement across procurement processes
• Engineering Collaboration: Work with engineering teams to understand product requirements, evaluate supplier capabilities for current needs and future roadmaps, and manage sourcing through new product development
