Job summary

Doo Group in Malaysia is seeking a capable Finance professional to lead R2R processes within a global financial services framework. The role focuses on closing, journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, and ensuring accurate financial reporting across entities.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in accounting/finance, professional certification, and 3–5 years of multinational experience with IFRS, SAP/Oracle/NetSuite, and strong Excel skills. Visa support available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting/finance.
• Professional certification is a strong advantage.
• 3–5 years experience in financial accounting or R2R.
• Experience in multinational corporations preferred.
• IFRS knowledge is important.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end and year-end closing, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Conduct intercompany reconciliations and ensure proper settlement across entities.
• Maintain balance sheet substantiations and supporting schedules.
• Handle fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
• Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and internal control standards.
• Review accounts payable and accounts receivable postings for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the monthly cashflow OPEX budget review and forecast updates.
• Prepare and file monthly tax reports (VAT/GST) and support compliance requirements.
• Support preparation of reports for local statutory and regulatory authorities.
• Manage bank-related administrative matters including maintenance and authorized signatory updates.
• Liaise with outsourced accounting providers and conduct first-level review of their deliverables.
• Support internal and external audit processes with necessary documentation and analysis.
• Identify and drive process improvements within the R2R function.
