Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a meticulous QA Engineer to ensure product quality excellence across global accounts. You will drive process improvements, develop QA plans using APQP, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise manufacturing processes.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of SPC and PCB assembly, with a minimum of 3 years in quality assurance. You will be a technical touchpoint for customers and participate in CAPA initiatives and training programs.

Qualifications

• Professional Certificate/ Diploma/ Advanced/Higher Diploma or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in QA or related role.
• Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and PCB assembly processes.
• Results-driven mindset with strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Quality Planning & Process Improvement: Lead QA plans for global new product introductions using APQP and customer-specific Process Optimisation frameworks.
• Inspection & Documentation: Develop inspection aids and guidelines; maintain document storage and review processes.
• Supplier & Customer Quality Management: Manage discrepancies; drive CAPA; support vendor surveys and supplier improvements; be the technical contact for customers.
• Training & Cross-Functional Support: Design/deliver training for global accounts; align with Policies and Procedures.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhere to workplace health & safety rules and security policy.
