Job summary

Bytecenture Consulting Pte. Ltd. is seeking a QA Tester to develop and execute test cases for web and mobile apps, ensuring high-quality software delivery. You will work with developers and product teams to clarify requirements, create tests, and track defects throughout the SDLC.

The role involves regression testing, system integration support, and contributing to QA process improvements. Strong English and Mandarin communication are essential for China-based client engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• At least 1 year of hands-on software QA or testing experience.
• Familiar with QA methodologies, SDLC, and tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar.
• Basic understanding of SQL; API testing tools (e.g., Postman) a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases and test scripts based on functional specs.
• Perform manual testing for web and mobile apps to ensure quality.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and test objectives.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
• Conduct regression testing and assist in system integration testing as needed.
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation standards.
• Share QA knowledge, tools, and best practices within the team.
