Job description

Global Procurement Process Excellence Specialist

This role involves providing data insights and report maintenance for Direct Procurement data, supporting procurement reporting needs, and ensuring requirements are monitored and refreshed. The position requires collaboration within a global team, data analysis, and process improvement skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain automated data sources for supplier performance management.
  • Provide data and reports for communication with the business, including performance metrics and market data.
  • Prepare information for major supplier meetings, including market and pricing data.
  • Develop user stories for the Procurement Control Tower.
  • Implement reporting and process requirements supporting the three lines of defense model in S2C processes.
  • Understand procurement digital standards and identify benefits for Castrol.
  • Identify and improve areas in data governance and contract governance, implementing corrective actions.
  • Provide market intelligence and data insights for category strategies and negotiations.
  • Support customer tenders with procurement pricing data.
  • Automate data for the Procurement Scorecard.
  • Assist in raw material forecasting with timely and accurate information.
Essential Education, Experience, and Requirements
  • University degree or equivalent experience in a technical or commercial field.
  • Experience in procurement and data analysis within a complex business.
  • Understanding of management information preparation.
  • Proficiency with digital tools like SAP, JDE, AWS, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to manipulate complex data sets.
