Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Procurement Engineer to manage end-to-end sourcing for direct, indirect, OPEX, and CAPEX needs across projects. You will develop procurement plans, lead supplier negotiations, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, cost-efficient delivery while adhering to Sulzer policies and ESG standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years procurement experience within EPC, Oil & Gas, Process Equipment, Chemical, Energy, or Industrial projects.
• Experience sourcing key packages such as Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, Pumps, Compressors, Fabricated Skids, E&I.
• Exposure to engineering or technical procurement is an advantage.
• Can communicate in English; Mandarin is an advantage.
• SAP procurement experience and willingness to learn Digital Procurement.

Responsibilities

• Develop Procurement Plans for assigned projects.
• Manage long lead items and critical sourcing packages.
• Participate in project kick-off meetings and risk mitigation for supply chain constraints.
• Process requisitions into RFQs and Purchase Orders; evaluate supplier quotations.
• Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, terms, warranties, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate supplier audits and ensure alignment with project specs.
