What's the role?
Being part of the Operational Excellence in Indirect Procurement, you design, develop and implement process workflows to improve efficiency, data transparency and compliance. You will orchestrate and support our Regional Procurement teams across the globe to provide the content and manage the supplier set-up end-to-end in the S4 Cloud environment. You train yourself to gain a deep understanding of our system landscape first to become a champion to support our global operational workforce with resolution findings. With this, you will become a driving force of our digital transformation journey.
What does the role involve?
Your work begins with a thorough understanding of our current processes and systems, providing the insights and factual foundation needed for success. As the business owner of indirect procurement within S4C, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all Hilti entities. Your role involves designing, testing, and managing procurement processes in close collaboration with regional procurement offices and key internal stakeholders. A critical aspect of your responsibilities includes documenting expertise and developing high-quality training materials. This ensures that knowledge is effectively shared and leveraged across teams, driving consistency and excellence throughout the organization.

What you need is:
To succeed in this role, you need to be effective at driving tasks to completion—end to end. A strong ability to understand business needs and translate them into system configurations will be essential. You excel at stakeholder management, leveraging your expertise and communicating with clarity and precision.

  • Bachelor degree in the field of Information Technology, Business Administration; relevant professional experience is a plus; Master degree is a plus
  • 6-7 years of experience in procurement processes and system management, preferably in S4 and Ariba environments
  • The ability to communicate and present effectively to cross-functional team members
  • To have strong project management skills
  • To have strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills
  • An end-to-end perspective (from planning, implementing, maintaining to continuous improvement and documentation)
  • Good analytical skills
  • Exceptional written and spoken communication and presentation skills in English; Additional languages are a plus
