Job summary

Lam Research Corporation is seeking an Operations Analyst in Penang, Malaysia to enhance the Global Operations team's effectiveness. You will develop and automate reports and dashboards in Excel and Power BI, analyze data, and drive data-driven decisions across manufacturing and supply chain processes.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent, with strong visualization skills and a proven track record in process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD with 2 years’ experience; or equivalent experience.
• Experience in developing data visualizations (reports & dashboards) using tools like Power BI, SAP Business Objects or similar tools.
• Demonstrated proficiency in leading process improvement methodologies and best practices.
• Skilled with improving operational efficiency on a global scale.
• Advanced knowledge of planning and order execution in semi-conductor manufacturing
• Analytical and problem-solving skills (creative idea generation / brainstorming / innovation).
• Subject matter expertise in a functional domain (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Production Planning, Order Execution).
• Demonstrated competency in customer focus (internal and external), critical thinking and creative problem solving, teamwork and collaboration, planning and organizing, analytical thinking, empathy, integrity, continuous learning, and effective communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop, automate, and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards in both Excel & Power BI.
• Analyze datasets to provide insights and create visualizations that tell a compelling data story.
• Ensure compliance with analytical standards and data governance policies to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
• Challenge stakeholders to prioritize long-term, data-driven decisions over quick fixes.
• Identify and communicate process gaps, providing data-driven recommendations to leadership.
• Facilitate change management for data and process changes, ensuring smooth implementation and seamless rollout.
• Measure and publish operational performance against established metrics and targets.
