Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Health, Safety and Environment Senior Manager in Malaysia to lead the design and implementation of programs for medium to large clients. You will oversee the EH&S function, safeguarding employees and communities through strategic initiatives.

The role focuses on developing playbooks, ensuring compliance, and driving program efficiency across sites, with leadership responsibilities and collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive information and convey performance expectations.
• Leadership skills to motivate the team and achieve operational targets.
• Advanced organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive culture to influence stakeholders and ensure compliance.
• Develop, implement, and review playbooks, procedures to drive consistency and efficiency.
• Manage initiatives to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Track operational and safety risks and develop strategies to avoid incidents.
• Monitor injury, illness, and incident reports and identify risk-reduction methods.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify concerns and propose solutions.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and implement strategic solutions to maintain it.
• Apply broad business knowledge and integrate with other disciplines to achieve objectives.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values.
• Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity.
• Understand broader impact across the department.
• Improve existing methods, processes and standards within the discipline.
