Job summary

STMicroelectronics Malaysia, based in Muar, seeks an accounting professional to support Record to Closing services in GBS, payroll accounting, and GL month-end closing. You will assist in analyzing business results and SOX controls while contributing to GL & Reporting transfer roadmaps.

Applicants should hold an accounting degree and have 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably with a Shared Service Center, and CPA/ACCA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting with relevant working experience.
• 3+ years in related field; Shared Service Center preferred.
• Professional qualification (CPA/ACCA) preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Record to Closing services in global business services (GBS).
• Support payroll accounting tasks.
• Support GL month end closing.
• Support analysis of business results.
• Support SOX control.
• Participate in expansion of GL & Reporting transfer roadmap.
• Participate in work process design, alignment & policy deployment.
