Wahed Invest in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a React Native engineer to join our Platform and Global development teams. You will build, maintain, design, and implement features across our mobile apps for iOS and Android, delivering pixel‑perfect UIs and smooth experiences.

We value self‑motivated learners with attention to detail who work well in an Agile setting and collaborate across teams to integrate with native APIs and ensure high quality through automated tests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years commercial experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native.
• Experience building mobile features with cross‑platform parity.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and offline storage.

Responsibilities

• Build pixel‑perfect, buttery smooth UIs across iOS and Android.
• Engineer new mobile features across maintained apps and platforms.
• Leverage native APIs for deep platform integrations.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Maintain a versioned codebase and write automated tests.
• Transition existing features to React Native and ensure parity.
• Collaborate within an Agile team and independently when needed.
• Cooperate with Front‑End and Back‑End teams on API specs.
