Global Engagement and Partnerships Senior Executive / Executive

Work closely with international students and their families to provide guidance and support on all aspects of the admissions process, including obtaining lawful entry into Malaysia upon admission to the chosen programs of study.

Oversee the international student visa process, managing documentation and maintaining accurate records and databases.

Facilitate the arrival of new students by providing information and advice before arrival.

Coordinate, evaluate, revise, and conduct International Student Orientation and workshops to enhance learning opportunities for international students.

Promote the role of international students as representatives of their countries and guide them in organizing events.

Establish, document, evaluate, and report on measurable operational and learning outcomes for the International Student Services office and its beneficiaries.

Serve as a liaison to the student affairs office and other departments to ensure effective services, procedures, and professional event implementation for international students, supporting the university's global education initiatives.

Oversee and provide leadership training for student leaders within the International Student Buddy System.

Deliver service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement, providing ongoing support for international students throughout their studies.

Advocate for international students within a student development framework and create promotional materials for international recruitment.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in any field or equivalent.
  • Preferably have an international background and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a tertiary education setting handling international students' campus experience and welfare.
  • Be a good team player with excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of working independently.
  • Attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to plan and adapt to change.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse academic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds of students and staff.
