Job summary

FrieslandCampina invites a Global Capability Lead Data Engineering to shape the engineering backbone for Data, Analytics and AI. You will own architecture, standards, and scalable data pipelines across global teams, mentoring engineers and aligning delivery with enterprise strategy.

You will drive architecture, patterns, and highest quality in a complex, global environment with Azure and Databricks at the core. Kuala Lumpur serves as a key delivery hub.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of software engineering experience with a data focus.
• Ability to translate strategy into implementation across delivery teams.
• Lead engineers, build high-performing teams and communities across domains.

Responsibilities

• Set the global direction for data engineering, defining architecture principles and best practices.
• Mentor engineers and act as a senior sparring partner to raise quality and consistency.
• Drive adoption of modern engineering ways of working on Azure-based data platforms.
