Our client is one of the leading companies when it comes to the manufacturing industry. Due to expansion plans, they are currently looking for a Commodity Manager to join their growing company. This role will be based in Penang.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supports business and strategic procurement initiatives concerning mechanical commodity expenditures.
• Analyzes pricing trends, emerging products, and manufacturing methods to enhance the performance of the commodity team across local and regional suppliers.
• Implements commodity management strategies through the application of the PML approach to meet operational requirements at local, regional, and global levels.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in commodity management.
• Willing to travel.
• Experience within the manufacturing industry.
