Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced BI Developer to drive end-to-end BI solutions for a global client in real estate and engineering. You will own data modeling, ETL design, dashboards, and reporting using Power BI and SSRS.

The role emphasizes Azure-based data pipelines, SQL performance tuning, and collaboration with business stakeholders to uncover insights and support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• End-to-end BI development experience delivering data projects from source systems to dashboards.
• Expert Power BI with strong data modeling and DAX.
• Microsoft SQL Server BI stack experience (SSIS and SSRS).
• Advanced SQL skills with performance optimization.
• Cloud exposure in Microsoft Azure for data solutions.
• Analytical mindset to derive business insights.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Build and manage automated paginated reports using SSRS.
• Design ETL workflows with SSIS and load data into data warehouse.
• Leverage Azure cloud services (Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse) to modernize BI.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.
• Partner with business to answer ad-hoc analyses and explain insights.
