Job summary

EDOTCO Group is seeking an experienced General Ledger Accountant to support day-to-day GL activities, assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, and help prepare financial reports and statements.

You will handle journals, balance sheet and P&L analysis, intercompany transactions, and assist with audits while contributing to process improvements and knowledge sharing across the finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification with a strong accounting background.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in supporting General Ledger operations and full set of accounts.
• Finance Shared Services experience is an added advantage.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, reporting standards, and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage core accounting tasks including journal entries and posting.
• Conduct monthly Balance Sheet and P/L analysis; manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes and financial reporting.
• Assist with statutory audits and preparation of financial statements and supporting documents.
• Prepare reports and reconciliations for internal management use.
• Provide training and knowledge sharing on journal entries and reconciliation in D365.
