- Maintain and reconcile fixed asset records, ensuring proper capitalization, depreciation, and compliance (GAAP/IFRS).
- Track asset movements (acquisitions, transfers, disposals, impairments) and perform physical verifications.
- Manage project accounting—track costs, review open projects, ensure policy compliance, and close completed projects.
- Prepare fixed asset roll-forwards, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly/quarterly/annual reports.
- Ensure timely reconciliations, adherence to SLAs, and meeting KPIs.
- Support audits by preparing schedules and addressing auditor queries.
- Process & Controls
- Handle manual journals and MEC-related tasks.
- Collaborate with O2C, P2P, and Market teams to resolve GL issues.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting standards.
- Drive process improvements in Record-to-Report (RTR) procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting/ Finance
- Professional Accounting Certification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is an added advantage
- Minimum 3 years related experience
- Good understanding of accounting principles, standards, financial statements and reports
- Knowledge of ERP system is compulsory, experience with Oracle is an added advantage
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications
