The GL Accountant will oversee general ledger activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance within the health care manufacturing industry. This role is pivotal in supporting the Accounting & Finance department by managing reconciliation, journal entries, and financial audits.

Description

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of overseas entities general ledger operations and financial reporting
• Prepare and review journal entries to ensure timely and accurate posting in the general ledger.
• Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations with detailed account analysis and issue resolutions
• Prepare IFRS-compliant standalone financial statements
• Managed fixed asset accounting : monthly capitalisation, depreciation & disposals
• Support annual audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Prepare overseas tax fillings and supporting documentations

Profile

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
• 4-5 year's experience GL accounting or audit experience
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Proactive learner with strong ownership mentality
