About the role

UJI TEGUH RESOURCES' is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our talented team in Shah Alam, Selangor. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, analysis and implementation of geotechnical infrastructure projects, contributing to the company's commitment to delivering high-quality civil and structural engineering solutions.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting site investigations, soil and rock sampling, and laboratory testing to assess ground conditions
• Analysing geotechnical data and developing recommendations for foundation design, slope stability, and other geotechnical considerations
• Designing and overseeing the construction of foundations, retaining walls, slopes, and other geotechnical structures
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of geotechnical engineering into overall project design and execution
• Providing technical guidance and support to project managers, construction teams, and clients
• Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices in geotechnical engineering

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Geotechnical Engineer, preferably in the construction industry
• Proven expertise in geotechnical site investigations, soil and rock analysis, and foundation design
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex geotechnical data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients
• Proficiency in using geotechnical engineering software and tools
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) or relevant professional certification
