Aries Resources Enterprise Sdn Bhd is seeking a Geologist to execute field and office geological tasks, delivering quality data, interpretations and reports per project requirements. The role involves field mapping, sampling, QA/QC, and coordinating with survey and lab providers, with emphasis on safety and data integrity.

Qualificações

• Degree or diploma in Geology/Geoscience, degree preferred.
• Typically 2–6 years relevant field experience; fresh graduates acceptable.
• Able to work in remote field conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct geological mapping, traverse planning and systematic field observations recording.
• Perform sampling (rock/soil/stream sediment/coal channel etc.) following SOP.
• Supervise sample labeling, chain-of-custody, transport coordination and QA/QC insertion.
• Log pits/trenches/drill core/cuttings (where applicable) and maintain consistent coding.
• Produce maps, sections and figures (GIS) and maintain field registers.
• Compile and validate datasets (coordinates, assays, lithology codes, QA/QC results).
• Draft technical report sections (methods, results, interpretation and appendices).
• Support field HSE implementation and toolbox briefings as assigned.
• Coordinate with survey/drilling/lab providers for technical requirements.
• Maintain equipment readiness (GPS, tablets, sampling tools) and track inventory.

Execute field and office geological tasks to deliver quality data, interpretations, and reports according to project requirements and company standards.

Key responsibilities

Conduct geological mapping, traverse planning and systematic field observations recording.

Perform sampling (rock/soil/stream sediment/coal channel etc.) following SOP.

Supervise sample labeling, chain-of-custody, transport coordination and QA/QC insertion.

Qualifications
