Earth Science Analytics, a leading IMDEX brand in Kuala Lumpur, seeks an experienced Geo-Data Scientist to bridge geoscience and data science. You’ll apply EarthNET to real-world subsurface challenges, collaborate with customers, and guide AI-assisted projects from concept to delivery.

The role demands strong oil and gas geoscience knowledge, hands-on ML-driven workflows, and the ability to communicate complex results in clear business terms.

Competenze

• Degree in geosciences, data science, petroleum engineering or related field.
• Around 7 years of industry experience across geoscience, petrophysics, seismic interpretation or subsurface data science.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian sedimentary basins and ability to work with customer projects.

Mansioni

• Apply geoscience, data science and machine learning to real-world subsurface challenges.
• Deliver, configure and optimise EarthNET solutions for customer projects and workflows.
• Work directly with customers to understand their challenges and turn complex technical results into clear, actionable insights.
• Support AI-assisted geoscience projects and proof-of-concept work.
• Travel to customer sites as required and collaborate with teams in KL and Norway.
