Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a qualified general practitioner to deliver high-quality primary care for both local and international patients in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves comprehensive examinations, accurate medical reporting, and adherence to international standards.

The successful candidate will have MBBS, MMC registration, an APC, and at least five years of relevant experience, with advantageous exposure to health screening and occupational health. Mandarin/Cantonese speaking is a plus.

Qualifications

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Registered with the relevant Medical Council (MMC or equivalent).
  • Valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in general practice or primary care.
  • Experience in health screening, medical reporting, or occupational health is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality primary care consultations for general outpatient cases.
  • Conduct comprehensive medical examinations and health assessments for local and international patients.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions in line with clinical guidelines.
  • Ensure continuity of care through appropriate follow-ups and referrals when necessary.
  • Perform detailed medical evaluations and screenings.
  • Prepare thorough, structured, and accurate medical reports, including assessments, risk evaluations, and recommendations.
  • Ensure all documentation meets international and regulatory standards required by foreign government bodies.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, discretion, and when dealing with cases.
  • Produce clear, precise, and comprehensive medical reports within required timelines.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare and legal standards.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination of special medical cases.
  • Adhere to clinical governance, regulatory guidelines, and internal SOPs.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and uphold best practices in patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with specific health screening requirements.
