Job Summary
We are seeking an accomplished General Manager Strategic Sales & Marketing to lead market expansion and revenue growth initiatives for our client in the renewable energy sector. This senior leadership role is pivotal in strengthening brand presence, increasing market penetration, and driving sales performance across a diverse portfolio of sustainable energy solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote a range of renewable energy solutions to targeted market segments.
- Strengthen the company's market position through strategic branding, promotional activities, and participation in industry-related events.
- Lead digital marketing initiatives, including search engine optimization, paid campaigns, and social media engagement to drive lead generation.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning within the renewable energy sector.
- Lead and manage the sales function to achieve growth and revenue objectives across multiple customer segments.
- Identify and secure business opportunities through strategic partnerships, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, industry partners, and potential clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project feasibility, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- Mentor and develop marketing and sales teams to deliver high performance and results.
- Track and review key performance metrics, adjusting strategies to maximize return on investment.
- Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and ensure compliance in all marketing and sales activities.
- Drive innovation in solutions offered to meet evolving customer and market needs.
- Prepare regular reports on sales forecasts, marketing outcomes, and business development plans for senior management review.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 15 years of progressive experience in marketing and sales, preferably within the renewable energy or allied industries.
- Demonstrated success in securing high-value projects and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Deep understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and customer demands within the clean energy sector.
- Strong expertise in sales strategy, contract negotiation, and stakeholder relationship management.
- Proficiency in leveraging digital marketing platforms and tools to drive business growth.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to conduct financial assessments of projects.
- Proven leadership capabilities with a track record in coaching, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams.
