Your new company

A key competitor in the construction chemicals industry seeks a key leader to lead a growing team as a General Manager, Sales.

Your new role

As a General Manager, Sales - you will be responsible for the following:
1. Oversee all daily operations related to trading activities, covering business development, sales and marketing, coordinate import and export operations, and administrative matters.
2. Develop strategies to grow the trading business to achieve business sustainability by ensuring the company profits meet the management's expectations.
3. Lead the business development and marketing team from end to end in the commodity business.
4. Recruit, onboard, and train employees to achieve objectives for sales, profitability, and market share.
5. Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans.

What you'll need to succeed

• 10+ years' experience in commodity trading, especially in mining and chemicals, locally and globally.
• Diploma or Bachelor's in Business, Management, Marketing, or related fields
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Strong industrial experience in building materials and/ or chemicals
• Product knowledge on commodities relating to building materials or construction chemicals
