Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 20 years of experience in managing major infrastructure projects such as railway, highway, airport, telco, or TNB.
- Possess PMP or PEPC certification.
- Registered with BEM as a Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate or other recognized professional qualifications.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of consultancy services contracts, construction contracts, procurement, negotiation, cost control, budget monitoring, cash flow planning, contract administration, variations, and claims.
- Contract management ability to achieve objectives with initiative and drive.
- Tendering experience and market understanding.
- Strong project management, cost control, and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good industry network and problem-solving capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Contracts & Project Management Division.
- Support business planning for new projects.
- Review and advise on consultancy agreements and contracts with clients and sub-contractors.
- Oversee contract administration and resolve contractual issues.
- Manage project tendering, evaluation, and cost estimation.
- Oversee project progress, reporting, and budget adherence.
- Coordinate with project teams and liaise with clients.
- Report to Project Director and perform additional duties as assigned.
