The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business operations in the freight forwarding industry, ensuring the achievement of strategic goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in leadership, business development, and operational management, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.

Key Tasks:

  1. Responsibility for Branch EBIT;
  2. Fulfill and exceed customer expectations by providing the highest possible service quality to the customers;
  3. Optimize transactions, increase sales, and manage costs effectively;
  4. Drive strong growth within the branch and maximize business potential;
  5. Strive for high productivity, competitive efficiency, and quality;
  6. Ensure maximum productivity at each branch;
  7. Adhere to global processes, policies, standards, and local laws;
  8. Develop and expand customer relationships;
  9. Standardize processes, structures, and systems per cluster management decisions;
  10. Organize and optimize organizational structures, including internal and shared service centers;
  11. Increase overall branch productivity through employee training, budgeting, eliminating inefficiencies, and growth opportunities, in collaboration with HR;
  12. Follow instructions, policies, and guidelines from cluster management and group/regional functions;
  13. Maintain regular communication with cluster management on important matters.

  • Translate strategy into operational plans, deploying resources efficiently and results-oriented;
  • Coordinate resources across functions, build networks, and encourage cross-border collaboration;
  • Focus on customer service, operational efficiency, and high-quality standards to retain and grow customer relationships;
  • Work effectively under pressure, meeting tight deadlines with resilience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Logistics;
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the MNC freight forwarding industry;
  • Experience in people management and leadership;
  • Work experience can substitute for educational qualifications.
