Job description

Responsibilities include ensuring all production activities operate smoothly through planning, organizing, and control. Lead the team to maximize productivity and achieve high standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction. Review machinery and system operations to minimize downtime, solve problems, and identify improvement opportunities. Develop continuous improvement plans to enhance quality and reduce operational costs.

Maintain good customer service and PR, representing top management in dealings with external parties. Manage project development and coordinate company resources efficiently. Be resourceful in sourcing new technology and suppliers to improve competitiveness. Develop and train the team under direct supervision, with high awareness of quality standards such as IATF 16949. Support safety programs and OSHA compliance.

Requirements:

• Minimum degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5-10 years of managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent leadership, team management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficient in production management software and tools.
• Expertise in IATF and ISO standards, with the ability to implement and maintain compliance.
