Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior (Project) Sales Manager / General Manager to lead our laminate flooring sales division. This role will oversee the development and execution of project-based sales strategies, manage key client relationships, and drive revenue growth while ensuring operational excellence across the business unit.
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue project-based sales opportunities in the construction, real estate, and interior design sectors.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve growth and profitability targets.
- Manage key accounts and maintain strong relationships with architects, developers, contractors, and specifiers.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and project bidding processes.
Project Management
- Oversee project timelines from proposal to delivery, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company standards.
- Coordinate with sales and installation team and internal departments (logistics, production, procurement) for seamless execution.
- Familiar with supply and install responsibilities and the role of a Nominated Sub Contractor (NSC).
- Track and report project progress, profitability, and client satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards, safety protocols, and customer service procedures.
- Experience in managing project operational costs.
- Provide leadership to the sales and project teams, setting KPIs and performance benchmarks.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to inform product development and positioning.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities at the business unit level.
- Optimize workflow processes and team structure to enhance efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in B2B sales and installation, preferably in flooring, building materials, or construction industry.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale sales and installation projects and leading teams.
- Strong knowledge of laminate flooring products, applications, and market trends.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
