Overview

We are seeking an experienced General Manager - Corporate Finance to join our team in Kota Damansara, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and guidance to support the Company's growth and expansion plans.

Responsibilities

1. Developing and implementing comprehensive corporate finance strategies to achieve the Company's financial objectives.
2. Preparing a detailed review of financial models and key investment indicators to superiors and senior management on the businesses (future/present/exploratory) and potential investment.
3. Overseeing the Company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing, to optimise financial performance.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial and operational strategies.
5. Preparing and presenting findings to management for approval on proposals by taking accounts into aspects of taxation, funding and equity.
6. Key point of contact with external professional parties such as Bankers, Underwriters, Lawyers, Regulative Bodies, etc.
7. Providing input on regulatory compliance matters based on Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements ("BMLR"), Securities Commission Guidelines, Code on Take-Over and Mergers, and other related regulations.
8. Drafting announcements and circulars to shareholders in compliance with BMLR.
9. Analyzing corporate planning and strategies, compliance issues and investor relations and provide proposals for improvement.

Requirements

1. Possess a Bachelor' Degree, Professional Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Banking or professional qualification (ACCA / CFA) or equivalent.
2. Minimum 12 years of working experience in corporate finance/ equity market, debt market or involved in corporate exercises including but not limited to acquisition/disposal of assets, M&A and fund raising.
3. Well versed with Bursa Malaysia listing requirement and Securities Commission Guidelines.
4. Matured with dynamic personality and good communication skills.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detail oriented, results driven, highly motivated and committed.
6. Able to work independently, good working attitude as well as an effective team player.
7. Strong financial analytical skills and able to read and understand financial statements, skillful in Bloomberg, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
