Job summary

CTOS leads Enterprise Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering; as General Manager you report to the CTO. You will set multi-cloud strategy, governance, and cost-optimized operations across hybrid environments, balancing security, resilience, and regulatory requirements.

You will drive disaster recovery, SRE practices, FinOps, and platform modernization while mentoring senior engineers and presenting concise updates to SLT and boards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) and PM/Prince2 qualifications.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The General Manager, Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering is a senior leadership role within the SeniorLeadership Team (SLT), reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer(CTO). This position provides strategic oversight and leadership acrossenterprise cloud and infrastructure domains, ensuring secure, resilient, andcost-optimized operations. The role spans technology operations &engineering, technology governance, FinOps, solution architecture,technical project management, and emerging practices such as DevOps,Release Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Cloud PlatformEngineering. The GM will act as a subject matter expert (SME) indisaster recovery, resilience, modernization, and transformation initiatives,while representing technology in management committees including theChange Advisory Board, Architecture Review Forum, and Technology RiskCommittees.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategic Direction: Provide enterprise-wide leadership on cloud and infrastructure strategy, aligning with regulatory obligations, resilience standards, and digital transformation goals.
• Multi-Cloud Architecture: Architect andinstitutionalize secure hybrid/multi-cloud operating models, includingproduction and disaster recovery zones, regulatory network integration, andresilience frameworks.
• Operational Resilience: Provide leadership inensuring enterprise technology uptime and resilience, driving deployments,releases, and enhancements while overseeing 24x7 operational coverage throughhigh-performing teams.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to BNMRMiT, MOF CRA, ISMS, and other relevant frameworks throughwell-architected strategies and structured governance.
• Risk & Audit Readiness: Drive proactive tech riskmanagement, continuous governance monitoring, and audit preparedness tomaintain regulator confidence and operational integrity.
• Resilience & Continuity: Lead disaster recoverysetup, resilience testing, and business continuity planning across hybridenvironments.
• Governance & Forums: Chair technology forums toenforce design integrity, disciplined approvals, and risk visibility.
• Financial Stewardship: Drive FinOps initiatives,optimize procurement, manage budgets, and ensure cloud expenditure governance.
• Leadership & Talent: Build, mentor, andsuccession-plan high-performing teams, advancing cloud-native, DevOps, TechOps,and AI/ML capabilities.
• Executive Reporting: Deliver structuredreporting and advisory insights to SLT, Board, and executive committees on riskposture, operational health, resilience readiness, and investment priorities.
• Strategic Advisory: Act as trusted advisor toC-levels, identifying systemic, operational, regulatory, and talent risksimpacting resilience and delivery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, orProfessional Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, InformationTechnology, or a related field.
• Cloud Certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc).
• Project Management Certifications (PMP, Prince2,etc).

WorkExperience

• 15+ years intechnology leadership, with 10+ years in infrastructure & cloudengineering and tech governance.
• Proventrack record in financial services or regulated industries, withexposure to BNM RMiT.
• Hands-onexpertise in AWS, GitLab, Terraform, Kubernetes, IaC & CI/CD pipelines,etc and hybrid cloud models.
• Demonstratedsuccess in disaster recovery, resilience engineering, microservices, techstacks migration, and modernization programs.
• Proven experience managing 24/7Operations across multi-cloud and hybrid Production Environments.
• Strategic Leadership:Ability to define and execute long-term technology strategies aligned withbusiness and regulatory priorities.
• Technical Depth:Expertise across systems, OS, databases, network transports, and cloud-nativeplatforms.
• Governance & Risk:Strong knowledge of ITSM, technology risk management, service assurance, and3LoD frameworks.
• Financial Acumen:Skilled in budgeting, cost optimization, and presenting board-ready financialinsights.
