General Manager, Business Development

Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the Group’s vision and growth targets.

Identify new market opportunities and lead efforts in business development activities.

Cultivate and maintain high-level relationships with government bodies, industry stakeholders, and strategic partners.

Collaborate with senior leadership to evaluate and execute joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions, and new project proposals.

Lead and mentor the business development team across various subsidiaries to ensure high performance and strategic alignment.

Oversee proposal development, including preparation of bids and tenders, especially for large-scale and government-linked projects.

Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making.

Set and monitor KPIs and performance metrics to track progress against business development goals.

Represent the company at industry events, forums, and networking engagements to enhance brand presence and opportunity pipelines.

Ensure all activities are compliant with local regulations and company governance standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, or corporate leadership, preferably in diversified industries (e.g., property, general trading, construction, services).

Proven experience in dealing with government agencies and securing government-linked projects is highly advantageous.

Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.

Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and work across complex business environments.

High level of integrity, professionalism, and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.
