Job Description

The General Manager will be responsible for managing the training centre's resources efficiently, ensuring a safe, high-quality, and productive training environment for all participants.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leadership & Operations: Oversee daily operations to ensure service quality, customer satisfaction, and training efficiency.
  2. Problem Solving: Address complex issues and customer complaints, collaborating with stakeholders for effective solutions.
  3. OPITO Compliance: Ensure operations meet OPITO standards, including managing inspections and audits.
  4. ISO Standards: Maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 systems to support quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  5. Data Management: Keep the company's masterfile accurate and current, including client, vendor, and operational data.
  6. Marketing & Business Growth: Promote marketing efforts to increase sales and establish the company as a preferred safety training provider.
  7. Qualifications: Minimum a bachelor's degree related to this field; at least 5 years of senior management experience in oil and gas safety training; familiarity with operational tasks like inspections, audits, and compliance with bodies such as OPITO; strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
