KMI Healthcare is seeking a highly driven and strategic General Manager to lead KMI Kuala Terengganu Medical Centre, one of our key hospitals serving the East Coast region.
Key Responsibilities
As General Manager, you will be responsible for:
Providing overall strategic and operational leadership for the hospital.
Managing clinical and non-clinical departments to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality patient care.
Overseeing financial performance, hospital budgeting, and cost management.
Driving business development initiatives, including service expansions and corporate partnerships.
Ensuring compliance with MOH regulations, MSQH standards, and all legal requirements.
Ensure high standards of customer service, CXP, Speedminer, addressing patient concerns and inquiries to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
Knowledge of Malaysian healthcare regulations, MSQH accreditation, and hospital best practices.
Leading a multidisciplinary team to achieve organizational goals and staff excellence.
Representing the hospital in engagements with external stakeholders including insurers, corporates, regulators, and the community.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Medicine, Nursing, or related field.
Master’s Degree (MBA, MHA, MPH) is preferred.
Additional certifications in healthcare quality, accreditation, or risk management are an advantage.
Experience:
At least 10–15 years in healthcare or hospital management.
Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role in a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
Strong experience in operations, finance, quality systems, and strategic planning.
Skills:
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong financial acumen and operational management capability.
Proven ability to lead teams, handle complex issues, and drive performance.
Familiarity with hospital IT systems, clinical workflows, and healthcare regulations.
