JOB DESCRIPTION

A General Manager in the Construction and Property Development company isresponsible for the overall success of a construction works or a specific project, overseeing all aspects from initial planning to project completion.This includes managing finances, leading teams, ensuring quality, and maintaining client relationships.

The General Manager shall be in charge of leading the company entire operation including mapping up its future business.

Key Responsibilities:

· Project Planning and Execution:

Oversee all phases of projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

· Tender Preparation and Submission:

Lead the team to prepare and submit private and public tenders.

· Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the company's portfolio.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.

· Financial Management:

Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure profitability.

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.

Minimum 15 years of experience in construction and property development industry.

Proven expertise in feasibility studies, design development, and comprehensive project management.

Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Resourceful, results-oriented, independent, and able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Experience liaising effectively with authorities, consultants, and contractors.

Work location: Kota Bharu, Kelantan.
